  • Lucky Deal resident, Wayne Elliott, won a prize for 26 consecutive weeks when the lottery first launched in 1994.
  • A family from Tipton has bought a winning ticket three times at odds of 350 billion to one. They have won a total of £3.25 million.
  • A winning ticket worth over £63 million, which was purchased in Stevenage in June 2012, is the largest unclaimed prize on record.
  • The first ever live draw, which was hosted by Noel Edmonds, attracted a TV audience of 22 million. That draw produced seven winners, with each winning around £840,000.
