The cash value of this jackpot came to $983.5 million. Three lucky ticket holders managed to match all the winning numbers on the 13th of January 2016. The three winners came from the following states: California, Florida and Tennessee. This is currently the world’s biggest-ever draw and no other lottery has been able to smash this record yet, not even Powerball itself!

The winning numbers were 4-8-19-27-34 and the Powerball 10. Each lucky ticket holder will receive their equal share of $983.5 million, which comes to around $327.8 million each.

The $758.7 million Powerball jackpot was won on the 23rd of August in 2017 this year. After deciding to take the cash option, the prize became $480.5 million. Can you imagine being the sole winner of a jackpot this big? Well, that’s just what happened to one very lucky Powerball player in Massachusetts.

The winner was 53-year-old Mavis Wanczyk. “I always used to say it was just a pipe dream. But I had to take the chance. I did, and it worked out pretty well I’d say!” explained the happy winner. Her winning numbers that made her a millionaire were 6-7-16-23-26 and the Powerball number 4.

Mavis was employed at Chicopee Medical Center at the time she bought two quick-pick tickets and a third which had her own lucky numbers on it. On the ticket with numbers that were manually selected, she played birthdays, her lucky number 4 and other random numbers.

The $590.5 million draw.

This jackpot was won on the 18th of May in 2013. One person managed to be the sole winner of this life-changing jackpot. The winner was Gloria Mackenzie, from Florida. The 84-year-old said the following during a press conference: “We are grateful for this blessing of winning the Florida Lottery Powerball jackpot and appreciate the interest of the public. We hope that everyone will give us an opportunity to maintain our privacy for our family’s benefit.”

A Powerball jackpot of $587.5 million was shared by two lucky winners. One came from Arizona and the other from Missouri. This amazing victory happened on the 28th of November in 2012. The cash value of this jackpot amounted to $384.7, which means that each winner walked away with $192 million before taxes.

The winner from Arizona bought their winning ticket from a food store in the Phoenix valley but took a while to come forward and claim his share of the jackpot. The other winner from Missouri was the first to come forward. The Missouri ticket holder is a mechanic and former office manager. He and his wife told lottery officials that they would love to travel, but are happy to stay put in Missouri for a while.

A staggering Powerball jackpot of $564.1 million.

Three lucky winners managed to hit the jackpot. They took home a cash value of $381.1 million which amounted to $127 million for each of them before taxes. These jackpot winners came from the state of North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas.  The winning numbers in this draw were 11-13-25-39-54 and the Powerball was 19.
