We guess Jim Forbes will now be joining the Forbes richest list after winning a huge EuroMillions lottery prize. Jim is a resident of Tayport, Scotland and he won his £665,000 prize in the September 22nd EuroMillions draw.

Jim’s life changed on a Saturday morning when he went into an Asda store to buy more lottery tickets. He asked the clerk to check his EuroMillions results for the ticket he purchased in the September 22nd draw. That’s when he was told that he’d won so much that he needed to call Camelot. He clearly didn’t need to buy any more lottery tickets that day!

His ticket matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star, falling short of just the other Lucky star. Had his ticket matched the other Lucky Star, he would have completely won the £134.91 million jackpot!

Jim got on the phone with Camelot immediately after he was instructed to do so by the store clerk. He was hurriedly taking his shopping trolley back when the Camelot adviser said, “Brace yourself – I’m very happy to tell you that this ticket is a winner for £665,838.70.”

Jim thought that the adviser was joking. But after a few minutes being convinced, he realized that it was the truth and his life was about to change completely. “That’s the best thing that could ever have happened. It doesn’t happen to me. I’m a normal Joe Bloggs!” replied Jim.

The EuroMillions winner currently works as a lorry driver but he’s not the first person in that profession to get lottery success. For example, Rob Rich from England won a £2,012,794 prize on the UK Lottery. In actual fact, a survey conducted by the National Lottery showed that the majority of lottery winners were lorry drivers!

Jim can now finally live the life he’s always dreamt of and take his family on holiday to New York and Hawaii. He has two children, Aaron, age 19 and Chloe, age 16. They want to go to New York for a white Christmas and then see Hawaii in the summer.

“I’ve worked all of my days. I’ve not scrimped and scraped but always sort of like watched the pennies. Now we can actually look at getting things we’ve always wanted and to have no money worries anymore,” he added.

Jim had a mixture of emotions during his phone call with Camelot. He was crying and laughing at the same time. “The tears are in my eyes. They’re tears of joy!” he said.
